Blue Planet Productions is a London based independent production setup - founded in 2000 by filmmaker, speaker and film scholar Lila Moore, PhD.
From its outset to present, Blue Planet creates and promotes film and media with choreographic sensibility that explore our interaction with the natural environment, in ways that are challenging and inspiring.
The dance of life which is embedded in our body and psyche is an integral aspect of the moving imagery of cinema. Blue Planet celebrates the fusion of dance and camera, motion and screen, and the choreography of movement in space-time through images and rhythms, and immersive aesthetic experience that unfold our creative consciousness.
Dr Lila Moore holds a practice-led PhD in Dance on Screen from Middlesex University. She explores the metaphysical and spiritual in film and art and the transformative – mythical, alchemical and magical - characteristics of cinematic themes and images.
In her vivid audio-visual lectures she presents a 21st century cinema of the global mind, a cinematic noosphere comprised of mind/body, technology and nature in a constant dance of flux and creative evolution.
